What is it like?
Worship service typically is 60 to 90 minute-long depending on celebrations that are incorporated in the worship. Congregants are from diverse ethnic backgrounds coming together in traditional Methodist service. Traditional hymns are sang from UMC hymnal with occasional jazzy flair blending melodies with contemporary rhythms.
What about my kids?
Children attending Kindergarten through Middle School are encouraged to participate in Sunday School. The curriculum used is https://www.cokesburykids.com/curriculum~big-faith. The children begin worship with congregants and lead by staff to Sunday School room after singing the Hymn of Preparation or before the preacher speaks. The children go back to the sanctuary before the Worship Service ends. Trained youth will serve as acolyte, "taking the light out to the world from the altar."
Where do I park?
Church grounds have ample parking. In special occasions, we can park in neighboring spaces with prior permission.
What do I wear?
Come as you are! Dress for the occasion and let outfit reflect the reverence of worship.
